I was the coordinator of the first year of North Lambeth Time Bank, a London-based arts skill sharing program, funded by NHS Lambeth and Department of Health/Timebanking UK. Developed and delivered as a partnership between Creative Sparkworks, Progress London and BeeUrban.
My role included developing intergenerational arts, creative and cultural opportunities for adults and older people referred from South London & Maudsley NHS mental health services, Age UK Lambeth and local health agencies.
The group attended regular theatre, museum and gallery outings across London in exchange for their time, and opportunities to socialise whilst sharing and learning new art skills, such as mosaics, pottery and dressmaking.
