
I’ll be running a series of Saturday Sketch-along sessions with Time & Tide Museum over Zoom, suitable for families and adults to draw together. The sessions are free to take part in. There will be a combination of collage and drawing approaches.
Each session will be themed around a different area of the Time & Tide Museum collections, using handling object. The session on Saturday 18th July at 1:30pm-3:00pm will be: World War Two.
I will be guiding participants through different drawing techniques and exploring some of the drawing and objects from the museum collections.
Session outline:
• 1:30pm intro
• 1:45pm drawing activities
• 2:30pm questions/feedback/reflections/next steps
• 3:00pm end
Materials required:
Drawing: paper for drawing & drawing tools (e.g. pens, pencils, graphite sticks, charcoal)
Collage: recycled, scrap or coloured paper (e.g. junk mail) & glue/tape
